Membership
One ticket. One owner.
Membership is how you go from someone who buys a ticket to someone who owns the thing throwing the party. One member, one vote, an equal say in a real Denver cooperative, for about the price of a single festival ticket.
$350 one-time community share · pay in full, or six monthly payments of about $58
What it gets you: an equal vote in a real cooperative, member pricing and priority access to everything we produce, member-only gatherings, and a patronage rebate in the years the co-op does well.
Memberships are open. Join in full, or on the six-month plan. You'll sign in with your email first, then it's a couple of clicks.
Become a memberMembership is patronage in a cooperative, not an investment. The full member terms live in the co-op's bylaws.
What a membership is
It's a one-time community share in OurFest, a Colorado cooperative (a Limited Cooperative Association). Paying it makes you a member: a co-owner with a vote, not a customer with a loyalty card. The share is about the cost of one festival ticket, and you can pay it in full or spread it over six monthly payments so the buy-in isn't a wall.
An equal vote
One member, one vote, the same say as every other member. No investor board, no golden shares. The crowd runs the co-op.
Member pricing & access
Member prices and priority access to every show and event we produce, plus member-only gatherings. It's built to pay you back for turning up.
Patronage rebates
In years the co-op does well, surplus comes back to members as patronage rebates tied to how you took part, not to how much money you put in.
A stake in the mission
Every membership moves Denver closer to community-owned festival grounds, stewarded for the members. That's the long game you're joining.
What it is not
Membership is patronage, not an investment. It buys you a vote, member benefits, and a stake in the community, not a financial return. Nobody at OurFest will ever pitch membership as a way to profit, including from any land the co-op may someday own. If you're looking for an appreciating asset, this isn't one, and we won't pretend otherwise.
How to join
Membership is $350, one time, or six monthly payments of about $58. Pay in full and your vote turns on right away. On the monthly plan you get every member benefit from day one, and your vote turns on once the share is paid in full.
You'll sign into your member portal first (email and a 6-digit code), then join in a couple of clicks. Secure checkout by Stripe.
Questions, answered
Is this an investment?
No. Membership is patronage: it buys you a vote, member benefits, and a stake in the community, not a financial return. Nobody at OurFest will ever pitch membership as a way to profit, including from land the co-op may someday own.
What does the $350 cover?
It's your one-time community share, about the cost of a single festival ticket. It makes you a co-owner with an equal vote, and it comes with member pricing and priority access that work to pay you back for showing up.
Can I pay it over time?
Yes. Pay the $350 in full, or split it into six monthly payments of about $58, whichever suits you. On the monthly plan you get member benefits right away; your vote turns on once the share is paid in full.
What if I need to leave?
You can resign in writing and have your share returned to you, subject to the co-op being able to meet its obligations. The full terms are in the bylaws, and you can always email hello@ourfest.co with a question first.
Who's behind this?
A Denver founding team running OurFest as a Colorado cooperative (FAIT Coop). One member, one vote, and the bylaws are public, read them here.
