Everything you need to say yes.
OurFest is a Denver events co-op. The members pick the lineup and the room, then we produce the night together. Here is the short version, the deals, and the files.
A co-op, not a promoter.
Member owned
One member, one vote. Transparent books after every show. No promoter cut, no investors.
The crowd picks
People nominate artists and rooms, the membership votes, and whoever wins gets produced.
The long game
Every show funds the next rung, toward festival grounds the community owns outright.
You came up because you draw.
If the members pick you, we handle the booking, the promo, and the door. You bring the set and your following. You keep your merch.
The typical deal for show one: a guarantee up to $150, or 50% of the door, whichever is higher, set per show and agreed before we announce. Settled the night of in cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Two plus-ones per act. The books get published afterward, so you can see exactly where the money went.
To get on the ballot: reply to whoever reached out with a link and your usual draw, or nominate yourself on ourfest.co.
An act with a crowd, and a crew to run it.
What we bring
An act with a real local following. A co-op crew for the door, load-in, and settle. A promo push to our list and theirs. A membership table that turns your room into new regulars.
What we ask
A room for 80 to 300. A fair bar arrangement. PA and backline details up front. One contact for sound. Tell us if you need a certificate of insurance and we will sort it.
How it settles
Door and costs are tallied the night of. The act gets paid, the room gets its share, and the co-op keeps only what funds the next show. Every number gets published.
Bring a night, bring your people.
Promoters and night runners: propose a room or an act you can pull, it goes to the membership, and if it wins we organize it with you. Vendors, photographers, sound, poster artists: you get listed on the show and paid from the show budget. Community orgs and other co-ops: our crowd overlaps yours, let's trade tables.
