OurFest is a Denver events co-op. The members pick the lineup and the room. Producers and DJs play on the house system. Makers turn the room into something people photograph. Everyone who helps build the night gets credit, a membership, and a share of the books.
Precommit, then book.
1. People say yes first
Fans, makers, and members precommit to the night at ourfest.co/events/launch. Their names go on the wall. Free.
2. The count books the room
When the wall hits the room size, we book the room and announce. The address goes to the list first.
3. The books get published
After the night, every dollar in and out goes up. Members see dollars, everyone sees the shares.
Everyone who builds it gets a piece.
Producers and DJs
A guarantee up to $150 or half the door, whichever is higher, set before we announce and settled the night of. You play on the house system. Two plus-ones. You keep your merch.
Makers
Credit on the flyer and the books, a co-op membership, two plus-ones, a share of the production budget set per show, and the photos from the night.
Lenders and crew
Lend fog, lights, a projector or a DJ table and you get credit, a membership, two plus-ones and a written borrow and return note. Builders and promoters get a named role and a cut for filling the room.
